About Skoach 2.0
What is Skoach, anyway?
- Skoach is a web-based time management system, designed by experts in time management in ADHD.
How is Skoach different from other time-management tools?
- Skoach 2.0 is more than just a place to record tasks and appointments. It offers guidance and friendly support from planning to completion. You’ll find planning wizards, text-message and email reminders, auto-scheduling, a “commitment bar” (to gauge your work-load), and “Weekly Template” planner. All that AND a beautifully simple interface designed to withstand extreme ADD and/or severe multi-tasking conditions!

Who can use Skoach?
Do I have to be a computer geek to use Skoach?
- No, the simplified and intuitive interface is friendly to all! However, because Skoach is a web-based application, it is most useful for people who have daily access to a computer with internet capability.
Is Skoach kid-friendly?
- Sure! In fact, for parents who would like to take a more active role in their children’s academic life, Skoach offers remote access (to monitor completed assignments or upcoming exams, for example). Contact us at support@skoach.com to request coaching access for your child.
Do I have to download anything to use Skoach?
- No! Skoach is web-based, so there’s nothing to download.
Can I share my new Skoach page with my coach?
- Yes. Once you have created a Skoach account, your coach can send you an invitation-link from his/ her “skoach-coach” account. Follow the link to grant permission and allow your coach to access your Skoach page.

Compatibility
What are system requirements for using Skoach?
- Skoach is a web-based application. This means that you never have to download anything, or synchronize files! All you need is a computer with an internet connection and compatible browser. We support both Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox. However, for optimal (and speedy) performance we strongly recommend Firefox
Is Skoach compatible with Mac?
- Yes, but you must use a Firefox browser.
Can I use Skoach with my PDA or iPhone?
- You can receive appointment notification via SMS or email, and you can email new tasks and appointments to Skoach through any email-enabled phone or PDA. We plan to introduce a full-function mobile version in the near future.
Can I use Skoach with Outlook, Google Calendar, and other iCal-compatible applications?
- Skoach can export appointments to any iCal-compatible calendar, including Outlook 2007 and Google Calendar. iCal instructions can be found under “plug-ins” on your Skoach page

Changing to Skoach 2.0
Current users
Can I continue using the older version of Skoach?
- If you are already have a Skoach 1.0 account, you may continue using it for the present. We encourage you to try out the improved Skoach 2.0 and to see how you like it. Trying Skoach 2 will not affect your Skoach 1 access or information.
Will my tasks and schedule automatically transfer from my current Skoach page to the new Skoach?
- No. To try out Skoach 2, go to www.skoach.com and register for a Skoach 2 account. Skoach 2 does not import or change your Skoach 1 information. While Skoach 1 & 2 feel very similar, there are fundamental differences in task structure that make it impractical to import tasks from Skoach 1 to Skoach 2.
How can I back up my Skoach 1 information?
- One easy way to save your task information is to export all tasks to excel. Just click on the excel icon at the top of the time-map. You can also use the print button at the top of the task panel to print your task trees as they appear on your Skoach screen.
Changes in Skoach
How is Skoach 2.0 different from the original?
- We added coaching wizards, improved the auto-scheduler, greatly simplified task-entry and displayed task-list, redid the interface, and added “multi-day events” (like a 3 day vacation), Gantt chart, and joint account access (for coaches and parents). Check out the screenshots tour or sign up for a free trial to explore Skoach 2.0 for yourself.
How long will it take me to learn to use the new version of Skoach?
- The Welcome Wizard will set you up in minutes. Once you understand the “date range” concept then the rest follows naturally! The idea is that tasks are always entered and displayed under range tabs, like “today“, “tomorrow“, “this week“. If I have to water the plants sometime this week, I could enter the task under “this week” tab. See Quick Start.
Can I still email and call in appointments and tasks?
- Yes. However, Jott (which had been used in the past to call in appointments by phone) is no longer free. Jott offers a voice-to-text email service and is not affiliated with Skoach. You may wish to use other service providers. Your Skoach 2 page will have a different task creation email address than your Skoach 1 page. Once you have created a Skoach 2 account, go to ‘preferences’ at the top of the page to find the new email address.

Changing to Skoach 2.0
Do I have to sign up again?
- Yes. Skoach 1 users will not be automatically transferred to Skoach 2, so when you’re ready to try out Skoach 2 sign up for a free trial. You’ll create a Skoach 2 account as part of signing up. Skoach 1 and Skoach 2 are entirely separate, so you can use the same email and user name (if available) as you used for original Skoach if you wish.
How much will the new Skoach cost?
- See pricing for rates and available discounts.
